The hour was late at the castle, a smothering shroud of darkness lay over the grounds and a crescent moon shone brightly in the cloudless sky...
Jym lay in a deep sleep, his tiny froggy form immersed in the cool fountain within the courtyard. A dozen feet away the jungle-man Gorge snoozed peacefully in his hammoch...
The massive berserker Blyclaaf was passed out in a corner of the dusty bar, his empty mug lay forgotten by his hand. The barbarian Azaroth sat opposite, deep in drunken slumber...
The silhouette of the mysterious Nexvotum (Formerly Scarecrow) dozed silently in a dark corner, his blade rested beneath his chin cupped in his hands; ready for battle even in sleep...
Along a gloomy passageway, next to a lone torch stood a door with a simple sign reading "Sekuri - keep out!" in scrawled handwriting...
Shadestar (Formerly Pain) slept soundly in his fire lit room, the soothing ocean waves lapping quietly beneath his window...
Rumbus, the nimble thief was stretched across his simple cot, dagger in hand; he occasionally kicked and twitched, no doubt dreaming of plundering untold riches...
Vaelea (Formerly Alana), the lone female among our heroes was denied the peaceful rest of the others; her dreams made her toss and turn, full of nightmares and dangers that floated on the edge of recognizable faces...
With a final gasp she woke and reached a hand to her tired eyes in frustration. The fighting was long over but peace eluded her all the same... A sea breeze swept in her carved stone window carrying the scent of the ocean. She arose, concluding that cool water and a walk might dispel the haunting dreams...
And of course Seth, the warlock stood alone in his chambers, his armor and weapons lay unneeded by his bed. Seth was staring down a giant ham sandwich which he looked forward to eating, but was interrupted abruptly.
Thud... Thud... Thud...
The rumbling knock echoed through the drafty castle, Seths' ear twitched in recognition, and he sighed...
It never fails... You make yourself a nice sandwich and every time, there's a knock at the door... I'll get back to you...[/color] He pointed at the sandwich and mimed biting into it as he turned and headed for the entryway, muttering to himself...
Who could possibly need us at this time of night? I thought we'd saved that town enough times that monsters would get the hint... Probably being attacked by the damn Spider again, or some ferocious weresquirrels... Oh save us heroes, what? WE can't do it... We're just peasents... Well even a peasant can hold a damn sword, whatever, let's just get this over with so that I can get back to my sand-
His thought was never finished, for the moment he pulled open the oak doors a massive slab of granite plunged through, smashing the elf mercilessly against the far wall of the hall and sinking back into the earth. Seth coughed a gout of blood as he fell to his knees after the impact, but before he had hit the ground a second spike of stone slammed into his face, knocking him sideways...
Seth looked up in time to see the hem of a brown cloak step across the threshold, his ears rang from the blows, but he could faintly hear a familiar chuckle before the next attack struck; A third pillar of granite erupted from the stone floor beneath Seth and catapulted him through the wall into the moonlit courtyard as the entryway crumbled to rubble...
Jym was the first to awaken, he sprang from his pond, sword in hand but was instantly caught by yet another granite block, the tiny frog was flung like a rag doll in a heap next to Seth while Gorge rolled from his hammock and prepared for battle only to be surrounded by a giant rock wall, trapping him from his friends and leaving the two to the mercy of their attacker...[/i]
Finally I take my revenge... Oh how I've waited... You won't beat me again, you sniveling dogs!
A fine spear of rock rose from the ground as the terrible Geomancer Yarha-Nage approached the crumbled bodies, it flew to his outstretched hand and he brought the weapon high, ready to impale his hated foes, but he was stopped by a shout as Vaelea entered the fray. His head snapped around to greet his new opponent at the same moment that his stone wall burst open to reveal the form of Gorge, also ready to defend the castle.
How noble, the little warriors rally to defend their precious warlock... But you have no idea the power I own now...
Without turning, or even moving Yarha-Nage summoned one final spike of stone to strike Seth and Jym, it exploded from the ground beneath them, hurling them high into the night sky before finally dumping their lifeless bodies into the freezing sea.
The Geomancer now advanced, stone spear still in his grasp he pulled a slab of the castles own foundation into the air, raising it like a wrecking ball...

Anyone feel free to reply, but keep a few things in mind;
this thread is entirely dedicated to telling the tale of the heroes who were at the castle when the fall occurred;
Yarha-Nage has multiplied his power to unimaginable levels, and none of us are even close to being a match for him at this point.
Please use this thread to tell the story of your escape, injury or capture, and nothing else.
